About Michael Denisoff.
(Please see Michael’s professional bio under “The Firm” section of the web site.)

Michael Denisoff, the founder and CEO of Denisoff Consulting Group, is a world renowned consultant and executive coach.  He takes great pride in being a multi-disciplinarian as he has expertise not only in business consulting, executive coaching and the like but also in philosophy, music, athletics, improvisational comedy, social issues, and primitive living.  He resented a boss early in his career who told him that he could only be an expert in only one thing. Well Michael looked to historical people like Plato, Michelangelo, and Descartes and a mentor who is both a concert pianist and brain surgeon for a different inspiration and perspective.

He gets the majority of inspiration from his mother and father for giving him wisdom and love. Michael is an adventurist and is well known for taking hikes by himself deep in the backcountry for weeks on end, mountain climbing and jumping into sink holes.  He has a great affinity to aboriginal/ primitive cultures. In the mid 1990’s Michael lived on a Native American Indian reservation and was taken in as a brother learning many of the traditional rituals and skills of the native people. As a world traveler he seems to be always hanging from a rope, exploring sacred grounds, and hanging out with the locals.

Michael was fortunate to play on a National Championship Football team at the University at Notre Dame and was a competitive runner in the 800m after college. He stills enjoys being very active particularly when it comes to outdoor activities. Michael is his own person and walks his very unique path.  He loves most helping people and organizations reach their potential.

In 1995, Michael developed the blue print for Denisoff Consulting Group.  In an interesting exercise, Michael began this process by identifying all the things he didn’t like about consultants, consultancies, and development organizations.  This included things like pictures of bald eagles, to “the guru syndrome”, to talking way too much, and providing too man bullet points instead of answers.  Michael wanted to make tangible impact on people and organizations. He figured that if he provided great value, clients would always benefit and use his services again or would refer him to other organizations.  (Which they did and still do.) And hence he has built his dream boutique consultant organization that truly stands a part as a leader amongst business consultants.
